Rainforest Tree Katydid (Phricta spinosa)
- Enclosure should be at least 30cm tall with good ventilation for one and preferably double that size for a group of them.
- They eat mainly leaves and bark of various native trees. Eucalytus and Syzygnum lilly pilly work best. It's best to put branches in cup or bottle of water to keep them alive for as long as possible and replace as necessary. They will apprecate fresh fruit and veggies as well as guinea pig or rabbit pellets as a supplement to their diet.
- Spray the leaves with clean water once daily so the katydid can drink the droplets.
